Remember the rumblings about a possible Lou Dobbs run for president back in April? I guess he's now a good target for the left. The Huffington Post referred to the investigative report by The Nation using the catchy headline: Lou Dobbs Hired Illegal Immigrants. The problem is the original article, written by Isabel Macdonald, does not even come close to proving Dobbs hired any illegal aliens. As quoted by CNN, Farr apparently said at a House hearing that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers should spend more time deporting illegal immigrants from jails and less time rooting them from work sites, a comment that adequately expresses the needs of his local economic constituency. He told ICE Director Julie Myers that work-site raids result in arrests of people who are basically "at the wrong place at the wrong time. On 7-7-07, The Call took place in Nashville, TN. There was an almost total media blackout in the MSM- an AP story ran on some minor news portals, and local TV stations in Nashville covered it. However, Titans stadium was filled to overflow capacity as crowds of fasting worshippers encountered God in a corporate act of devotion to His Kingdom.video hereand hereand a TV news report- over 100,000 attended.Meanwhile, the organizers of Live Earth are embarrassed at their low turnout and lack of interest- blaming it on 'climate change'!
