A to Z Adventure
This is definitely our favorite book which makes up for purchasing the Little Touch system! Each page has a field where the letters and some details next to each word that start with this corresponding letter. The opposite page contains a picture organizing all the details from the neighbouring page. Depending on which setting you have selected, it pronounces the letters, the phonetics, identifies the pictures, and sings the abc's. The most used is setting 2. When the pictures on the picture page is pressed it "speaks" the sound of the starting letter of the picture - then identifies the picture (ex: "a- apple "). It also has a spot on the page which you can press and it then asks to find a corresponding letter.
It has some of the small problems that many of these small touch books often have. If an eager child is repeatedly pressing on different places on the page sides this can make the built in system interpret this as if it's on a different page. Therefore this system should be used with both parent and child, not the child alone. Anyway, this is one of the best ABC's and phonics learning products we have seen in a long time! The book itself is of a very good standard and is highly recommended for all who is looking for a sensible gift for a child.

are an excellent product if you want to let your child get a head start on its education before entering kindergarden or even nursery school. All items I've bought from Leapfrog have been excellent learning tools as well as fun for my 17 month old niece. Also myself and my own two and a half year old just love this book. This little touch leap pad is just great! I like the way it is changing as you move from level one
and up to level three. All the books are great fun to explore and this one contains nice music too.
A must have...
This LeapFrog book is a must have for everyone who also owns the LittleTouch LeapPad. This is a simple and fun way to learn the alphabet and at the same time listen to the sound of the letters, also the alphabet song which is found on each page are nice. The pictures are just asking to be touched by any child, and the accompanying words, phrases and sounds are very nice. My niece loves to hear Dot's giggle and laughs all the time! One of the best thing about this book is that it keeps the child's attention. This is great for learning from a young age!
This book teaches both phonetics - which is the sound of the letters) as well as the letters and images themselves. For example: On level 2 (words and phrases), it will say "buh" - "ball." It has the objects individually placed on one side and in a matching picture on the other where the child can touch the "ball" on the left and then find it in the picture on the right side.
